यो १०-१५ फिट अग्लो १००० मिटरसम्मका गर्मी हावापानीमा पैदा हुन्छ । यो रातो फुल्छ र जहाँ कोट्याउँदा पनि दूध निस्कन्छ । आँखामा यसको दूध विष हुन्छ, सर्वप्रथम नेत्ररक्षा गर्नुपर्छ । यसको पात ४-६ अङ्गुल लामो आयातकार र चौडाइ २-३ अङ्गुल, पुष्प १ अङ्गुल व्यासको सुगन्धयुक्त बालाको शिरमा सेतो र पत्रदल प्याजी/जामुन रङ, फल ३-४ अङ्गुल लम्बाइ र २-३ अङ्गुल चौडाइ गोलाकार भित्र बीज र रुई रहन्छ। यसको दूध दाँतमा राख्दा दर्द हराउँछ, रुईमा बेरेर केही बेर कीराले खाएको ठाउँमा च्याप्दा कीरा झर्छ। आधाशिर दुख्नेमा गोबर भस्ममा आँकदूध सुकाएर नाकमा सुँघ्दा अर्धकपाल दर्द, रुघा - पिनास ठीक पार्छ । कर्णशूलमा र कानको समस्त रोगमा आँकको पुरानो पात, नुन र घ्यू पिसेर राख्दा सन्चो गर्छ । संवेदन शून्यता, पक्षघात र जोर्नीवाथमा तेलमा डढाएर मालिस गर्दा तत्काल लाभ पुऱ्याउँछ। आगोले पोलेकोमा आँकको रुई जलाएको भस्म ३ ग्राम, तीलको तेल १० ग्राम र १० ग्राम चुना निथारेको पानी लगाएर पातलो सुती कपडाले छोपिदिँदा अग्निदग्धमा तत्काल लाभ पुऱ्याउँछ । श्वेतकुष्ठ (दुबीमा) आँकदूधमा हरताल र बाकुची पिसेर लगाउँदा फाइदा गर्छ । दादलगायत चर्मरोगमा आँकदूध मह मिलाएर लेप लगाउँदा तुरुन्तै लाभ दिन्छ। कुनै पनि सुन्निएको, दुखेको स्थानमा आँक पात पिसेर लेप्दा फाइदा पुऱ्याउँछ । आँकजरा धूलो त्रिफला धूलोमा समानभाग मिसाएर आधा-एक चम्चा खाँदा समस्त वात-व्याधि, जलोदर, आम-अतिसार, सर्वाङ्ग शोथ, कुष्ठ, उदरशूल, खतरा घाउ, सुजाक आदि सन्चो हुन्छ । यसको अर्क र काँढापानीले लेप-स्नान र पिउँदा छिटो लाभ पुऱ्याउँछ ।
