DHAINYARO (WOODFORDIA FRUTICOSA) 

Nepali Name: धैन्यारो, Dhainyaro 

Scientific Name: Woodfordia fruticosa

Hindi Name: गुल धावी / अग्नि ज्वाला   Gul Dhawi / Agni Jwala  

Traditional Uses and Process of Use:

1. Haemorrhage:

Prepare a decoction by boiling Dhainyaro flowers in water.

Drink the decoction to help control and alleviate symptoms of haemorrhage.

2. Dysentery:

Make a paste of Dhainyaro flowers and consume it to relieve symptoms of dysentery.

The astringent properties of the herb may help in treating the condition.

3. Menorrhagia:

Create a concoction by boiling Dhainyaro flowers and take it to manage excessive menstrual bleeding.

The herb is believed to have properties that can regulate menstrual flow.

4. Stomach Troubles:

Dhainyaro may be beneficial in addressing various stomach issues.

Consume a tea made from its flowers to ease stomach discomfort and improve digestion.

5. Leucorrhoea:

Prepare a solution using Dhainyaro flowers and use it for vaginal wash to manage leucorrhoea.

The herb is thought to have properties that can help in treating this condition.
