 DATIWAN  (ACHYRANTHES BIDENTATA ) 

Nepali Name: दतिवन, Datiwan

Scientific Name: Achyranthes bidentata

Hindi Name: चिरचिटा, Chirchita

Traditional Uses and Process of Use:

1. White Variety:

Properties: Bitter, sharp, warming, purgative, stomachic.

Indications: longing, ache in the belly, ascites, indigestion, infection.

Seeds are beneficial in piles.

2. Red Variety:
