यो लगभग ओदाल १० फिटसम्म अग्लो हुने बिरुवा, हाँगा फिक्का हरियो र स-साना छिद्रहरू रहेका हुन्छन् । यसका पातहरू ४० से.मि.सम्म व्यास भएका लामालामा डाँठ मुटुको आकारका ५-८ ओटा लोतीहरू माथितिर रौं नै रौं र तलतिर आपसमा मिसिएका रौंहरू दायाँबायाँ रहेका हुन्छन् । यसका फूलहरू डाँठसहित लट्टा परेका ऊनजस्तो कुसहरू भएको ठूलो, सानो जताततै मिसिएको झुप्पामा फुल्ने पहेँलो रङका हुन्छन् । हाम्रो गाउँले परम्पराअनुसार ओदालको जरालाई धूलो बनाएर लडेर शरीर शिथिल परेमा, ढाड, कम्मरसम्बन्धी कुनै पनि समस्या र कब्जियत रोगमा १/१ चम्चा दूध या पानीसँग दिनको ५-७ पटक खाने चलन पाइन्छ । जबसम्म दुखिरहन्छ, तबसम्म खाइरहने काम छोड्नुहुँदैन । पुवा बनाएर खाने चलन सभ्य र औषधीय गुणले युक्त हुन्छ । यसले गर्दा रोगलाई जरैदेखि छिटो निर्मूल गर्न सक्छ । रोटीमा पनि राखेर यसले ताकत दिन्छ, अन्नको अभावमा काम गर्छ, हाड खिइनेमा तत्काल गतिशील उपचार गर्छ । यसमा पकाउने चलन छ । जब रोटी चिप्लो र फुल्छ झन् राम्रो पनि देखिन्छ । यसले मुटुलाई पनि फाइदा गर्दछ,
