भस्म: यसको फूल वा डाँठलाई जलाएर बनाइएको १ देखि २ ग्राम भस्म दिनको ३ देखि ५ पटकसम्म अवस्था अनुसार प्रयोग गर्न सकिन्छ।
लेप: जोर्नी दुख्ने समस्यामा यसको जराको लेदो बनाएर बाहिरी रूपमा मालिस वा लेप लगाउन सकिन्छ।

रातो खरको खेतीका लागि धेरै लगानी वा मलजलको आवश्यकता पर्दैन। यो सिमसार वा पानीको स्रोत नजिकैको खेर गइरहेको जमिनमा सजिलै उमार्न सकिन्छ।
