बन्छ। यसको डाँठ र फूलले गर्मी फाल्छ, पित्तनाश गर्छ, शीतलता दिन्छ, दिमागलाई शक्ति

यो घाँस २-३ फिट अग्लो हुने गर्छ र यसको फुल सेतो कोदाको जस्तै देखिन्छ। यसलाई अंग्रेजीमा
"Goosegrass" वा "Wiregrass" भनिन्छ। यो घाँस नेपालका तराई, पहाड
र हिमाली क्षेत्रमा पनि पाइन्छ। यसको विशेषताले गर्दा यसलाई पशुपालन र आयुर्वेदिक औषधीका
रूपमा प्रयोग गरिन्छ।

र ओझेलमा उम्रिन्छ। नेपाल बाहेक यो भारत, चीन, बंगलादेश, थाइल्याण्ड, अफ्रिका, अमेरिका,
र अन्य धेरै देशहरूमा पनि पाइन्छ। यो विश्वभरि उष्ण र समशीतोष्ण जलवायु भएका क्षेत्रहरूमा
फैलिएको छ।

पातला र लामा हुन्छ भने यसको फूल सेतो र कोदाको फूलजस्तै देखिन्छ। यसको जरा पनि औषधीय
गुणले भरिपूर्ण हुन्छ। यसको नल (डाँठ) मा गुलियो स्वाद हुन्छ, जसले गर्दा यसलाई पशुहरूले
मन पराउँछन्। यसको बीउ सानो र गोलाकार हुन्छ।
