यो रातो फुल्ने कम मात्रामा पहाडी क्षेत्रमा पाइन्छ । यसको पात सेतो भुवादार लाम्चो, रातो फुल्ने बास्नादार फूल हुन्छ । गुण-धर्म : तितो-टर्रो स्वाद र स्वभाव गरम । औषधीय उपयोग : यसको पञ्चाङ्ग चूर्णले दुखाइ ठीक गर्छ । सबै वात-व्याधि, दम खोकी, सुन्निने फुल्ने, स्नायुतन्तु मांशपेशीय, ५०-६० ग्राम अर्क, गानो टुक्रा चुस्ने, नसा च्यापिने, हड्डीवाथ, जोर्नी खिइने, करङ सकिने आदि सन्चो गर्छ । मात्रा : धूलो १/१ चम्चा, अर्क १०-१५ थोपा, वटी ३-५ वटा, लेदो आधा - एक चम्चा ३-५ पटक ।

यसको प्रयोग गर्दा मात्रा र विधिको सही ज्ञान हुनु आवश्यक छ। यसको पञ्चाङ्ग (जरा, काण्ड, पात, फूल र फल) सबै औषधिको रूपमा प्रयोग गर्न सकिन्छ:
धूलो (Churna): १/१ चम्चा धूलो बिहान र बेलुका मनतातो पानीसँग सेवन गर्न सकिन्छ।
अर्क: यसको शुद्ध अर्क १० देखि १५ थोपा सम्म प्रयोग गर्न सकिन्छ। कडा दुखाइमा ५०-६० ग्राम सम्म अर्क चिकित्सकको सल्लाहमा प्रयोग गरिन्छ।
वटी (ट्याब्लेट): बजारमा पाइने यसको वटी दिनमा ३ देखि ५ वटा सम्म खान सकिन्छ।
लेदो वा पेस्ट: आधादेखि एक चम्चा लेदो दिनको ३-५ पटक सम्म सेवन गर्न सकिन्छ।
चुस्ने: पेटको समस्या वा गानो जाँदा यसको सानो टुक्रा मुखमा राखेर चुस्न सकिन्छ।
खेती, उत्पादन र संरक्षण
यो कम पाइने वनस्पति भएकाले यसको संरक्षण र व्यावसायिक खेतीमा जोड दिनु आवश्यक छ।
खेती: यसलाई पहाडी भेगको प्राङ्गारिक माटोमा खेती गर्न सकिन्छ। बीउ वा जराको भाग रोपेर यसको विस्तार गर्न सकिन्छ।
उत्पादन: यसलाई संकलन गरिसकेपछि सफा गरेर छहारीमा सुकाउनुपर्छ। प्रत्यक्ष घाममा सुकाउँदा यसमा भएको सुगन्धित तेल र औषधीय गुण नष्ट हुन सक्छ।
संरक्षण: प्राकृतिक रूपमा पाइने बिरुवालाई जरासहित उखेल्नुको सट्टा निश्चित भाग मात्र काट्ने र पुनः उम्रन दिने पद्धति अपनाउनुपर्छ।
