यो वनऔषधि ३-५ हात अग्लो झाडीदार गर्मी क्षेत्रमा पाइन्छ । सेतो मखमलीको समान झुसले भरिएको र पात गुर्जोको समान, पहेँलो फुल्ने साँझमा खिल्ने, फल गोलाकार यसलाई पनि बीजबन्द नै भनिन्छ । यसको जरा रसायन, मूत्रल, वातहर, पौष्टिकमा प्रयोग हुन्छ । यसको बीज श्वासहर, बाजीकर, नपुंसकतानाशक, मृदुरेचक र स्नेहन मानिन्छ । यसको पत्ता र बोक्रा ज्वर, दाँतदर्द, पित्तअतिसार, रक्तप्रदर, सुजाक, मूत्रकृच्छ्र र घाउमा उपयोगी देखिन्छ । यसको बीज ३-५ ग्राम दिनमा २ पटक अथवा पञ्चाङ्ग, ५-७ ग्राम २ पटक पानीसँग खानुपर्छ । टुक्रा चुस्नाले विशेष लाभ गराउँछ ।
