    • डाँठ: पातलो, लामो, कालो दूधे रस भएको।
    • पात: हरियो, मसिना, अण्डाकार आकारका, डाँठमा विपरीत क्रममा जोडिएका।
    • फूल: साना, सेता वा हल्का हरिया, गुच्छामा फुल्ने।
    • फल: पाकेपछि फुट्ने, बीउ साना काला हुन्छन्।
    • रस: कटाउँदा दूधजस्तो कालो रस निस्कन्छ।
