घोडताप्रे नेपालमा पाइने एउटा महत्वपूर्ण औषधीय जडिबुटी हो। यो सानो पातहरू भएको झार वर्गको
उपलब्धता:

नेपालमा समुद्री सतहदेखि २८०० मीटरको उचाईसम्मका
खुल्ला र ओसिलो ठाउँमा
पाइन्छ। यो विशेष गरी
खेतबारीको किनार र कुलोको डिलमा
भेटिन्छ। चरन हुने क्षेत्रमा
यसको उपलब्धता बढी हुन्छ, जसले
गर्दा यसलाई सजिलै चिनिन्छ।

सकिन्छ। यसको बोट, पात
र हाँगा सबै औषधीय रूपमा
प्रयोग हुने भएकाले यसको

प्रयोग:
घोडताप्रेको
पात पेटका समस्याहरू, जस्तै ग्यास्ट्रिक र अपच, छारेरोग,
स्नायु सम्बन्धी समस्या, रगत शुद्ध गर्ने,
र ज्वरो कम गर्ने काममा
प्रयोग गरिन्छ। साथै, यसको पातहरू स्मरणशक्ति
बढाउनका लागि पनि महत्त्वपूर्ण
हुन्छन्। यसको प्रयोगले मानिसको
मानसिक स्वास्थ्यमा पनि सकारात्मक प्रभाव
पार्छ।

यसको अवस्था सन्तोषजनक छ र यसको
व्यावसायिक रूपमा प्रयोग भइरहे पनि यसको संरक्षण

Introduction:
Water Pennywort is known locally as Brahmi in Nepal, and it
is a very valued medicinal plant. It belongs to the category of perennial
plants; hence, it always remains green. Every node gives rise to a small root,
along with a kidney-shaped leaf. The leaves are 1 to 1.5 cm long and 1.3 cm
wide. The flowers are very small. They come in shades of red or white color.
Availability:
It grows profusely in open, moist places in Nepal from 500
to 2800 meters elevation. Normally, this plant grows along the edges of
cultivated lands, irrigation channels, and grazing sites. The plant loves damp
surroundings; thus, it is highly common in agricultural lands and hilly areas
of Nepal.
Time of Collection:
This herb can be gathered all over the year. Since the whole
plant is used for medicinal purposes, all of its parts, including leaves and
stems, are of value in trade.
Parts Used in Trade:
The whole plant is used on a commercial basis. The leaves
and the dried branches are the most traded, especially in the dried state.
Dried leaves are somewhat shrunk, but their medicinal properties are preserved.
Tiny red-white flowers can be found on a tip of this plant's stems.
Uses and Benefits:
Water Pennywort has been traditionally used according to
many medicinal systems. Here are the main benefits:
Digestive Health: Leaves of the plant are used for treating
stomach problems, including indigestion, bloating, and gastric disorders. It
regulates the digestive system and can help save a person from discomfort due
to an upset stomach.
Epelahy and Nerve Disorders: It has been effective in
epilepsy and other such related disorders involving nerves due to the sedative
effect caused on the nervous system.
