Hindi Name: पलाश , Palash  

Traditional Uses:

1. Anthelmintic: Used to expel or destroy parasitic worms.

2. Astringent: Contracts tissues, often used to stop bleeding or reduce secretions.

3. Diuretic: Promotes the production of urine, aiding in detoxification.

4. Treatment for Diarrhea and Dysentery: Addresses gastrointestinal issues and infections.

5. Poultice for Swelling, Boils, and Pimples: Applied externally to reduce inflammation and promote healing.

Process of Use:

Anthelmintic: Prepare a decoction of Palans seeds and consume it to eliminate intestinal worms.

Astringent: Create a paste using the powdered seeds and apply it on wounds or cuts to stop bleeding.

Diuretic: Infuse Palans leaves in hot water and drink the decoction for promoting urine production.

Diarrhea and Dysentery: Consume a decoction made from the bark of Palans to alleviate digestive issues.
